King Eggroll - Newark

King Eggroll is well-known for its crispy, perfectly fried, oversized egg rolls, which are definitely a highlight of their menu. In addition to egg rolls, they offer a variety of other items, including Vietnamese sandwiches, smoothies, Chinese fast food, and dim sum. Personally, I find myself ordering the egg rolls about 90% of the time. Occasionally, I’ll try the dim sum or a sandwich, but it’s the egg rolls that keep me coming back. The staff is generally quite friendly. However, I would recommend avoiding the dim sum in the late afternoon, particularly after 4 PM, as it tends to get dry from being left out all day (unless that's to your taste). Keep in mind that this restaurant is cash-only, but there is an ATM on-site and plenty of seating available. One thing I’ve noticed is that they’ve been gradually raising the prices of the egg rolls over the past four years. I hope this trend doesn’t continue, or I might have to scale back my visits.

The best shrimp ball I've ever had: it had a thin, crispy exterior. The chicken wings were also outstanding, with a similarly crispy outside and the meat remaining tender and juicy. One of the best egg rolls (spring rolls) I've ever tasted! I used to think that only Chinese cuisine made the best egg rolls, but I stand corrected. I hope that sharing this review doesn’t lead to longer wait times for me. Enjoy!

I stopped by on my way to work and can see why they call it KING Egg Roll. It was incredibly fresh and delicious! You definitely need to try the chicken egg roll too, as not many places even offer them. It was truly exceptional!

Everything was wonderful the chicken was done fresh it was nice and crispy we had Party play Party trays I'm sorry and we had egg rolls that were done really well and we also have chicken fried rice and we have to channel Maine all and Party Place party trays and they were done very well everything was fresh and everyone should try them

I love the egg rolls! I haven't tried anything else from there... I'm looking forward to it tho....
