K-town Bbq - Newark

I had the worst experience I've had with Korean BBQ or any restaurant in a long time. I tried to convince myself it was just a fluke and gave them a second chance, but it was even worse. It took 45 minutes to receive our drinks, and they were out of stock on everything, including beer! When we finally received our food, it was disappointing and bland, almost like it had been pre-frozen. I love Korean BBQ, but this place just doesn’t cut it. I recommend skipping this restaurant and looking elsewhere.

This restaurant offers high-quality meat and provides an authentic traditional Korean BBQ experience, just like you'd find in Korea. The service is excellent—quick and friendly. I've visited this place 11 times and have never had a negative experience. I wholeheartedly recommend dining here. Food: 5/5.

The food was packed with flavor, the service was outstanding, although it was a bit on the expensive side. We would definitely return. Food rating: 5/5.

This place was amazing!!! The food was great and the service was incredible! The nice old lady helped us cook most of our kbbq. It was not too crowded either. Definitely will be coming back here!

A friend recommended this restaurant. This was my first time coming here on a Saturday night. My friend and I were seated right away. It wasn't busy at all at 7:20pm. I ordered the dumpling ricecake soup and chicken bulgogi. The chicken was just ok. The soup didn't have much flavor. The amount of chicken you get isn't worth $19. My friend ordered the stonepot bimbimbap and said it was just ok. We didn't receive any type of service after receiving our food. Not even an automatic refill on our tea. We asked for separate checks and an older lady said that was not possible. I will not be returning to this restaurant.Parking: Plenty of parking in the Food Maxx shopping center
