Hibachi-san - Newark

I suspect that the rice and chow mein are sourced from Panda Express, and even the egg rolls seemed to be from there as well—the egg roll was particularly disappointing, tasting as if it had been stored for days. It feels like they buy takeout trays and resell them at a higher price. On the bright side, the shrimp, chicken, and meat were quite good. However, it bothers me that they rely on Panda Express for their rice and chow mein.

This is an excellent restaurant located in the mall, offering large portion sizes! Make sure to ask for your food to be cooked fresh to enhance the flavor. If you go on the weekend, it will likely be prepared fresh as well.

I've always loved this place, and I make a point to stop by whenever I visit the mall. However, my recent experience wasn't quite right. I ordered the number 1 (which used to be number 7), the teriyaki rice plate, but it didn't taste the same as I remembered. There wasn't much teriyaki flavor in it.

We dine at this restaurant weekly, and the food is outstanding. There's often a queue of customers, which reflects its popularity. I highly recommend the salmon and the chicken teriyaki. Some of the staff are incredibly friendly, and the portion sizes are quite generous.
