The Old Green Dragon

We stopped by on a Thursday, which turned out to be steak night at the restaurant. I ordered a rib eye steak, while my wife opted for the rump steak. We both prefer our steaks cooked to medium-well, and they arrived perfectly cooked and char-grilled. Each steak came with a large mushroom, onion rings, salad, and fries. The sauce, which was included in the price, was a nice touch - I chose stilton, while my wife went for Diane sauce. Both sauces were delicious. The prices were very reasonable. We were impressed with the selection of 6 real ales available and even got to try a couple of samples before making a decision. We had a great time, enjoyed the atmosphere, and plan to visit again in the future.

The pub is beautiful, but the staff were a disappointment. The two young waitresses who brought our food were unprofessional and quite rude. They seemed to lack knowledge about the menu items, responding with "dunno" or "probably soon" when asked about the food's arrival time. We had been waiting for a while and expected better service. The hunters chicken I ordered had almost no sauce, accompanied by hard chips and warm, limp salad. It was clear that the dish had been left under heat lamps or out for too long.

The pub is lovely, with amazing food served by friendly and welcoming staff. They also have a great variety of real ales. I will definitely be coming back again.

The old drachengreen, it sets the standards that others want to follow, a crisp selection of beer, lay, weeping and spirituosen. a warm welcome, and the pub has a great atmosphere. eating is also high quality local products.
