Contribuiți la feedbackExcellent place to sit and relax over a delicious coffee and mouthwatering cake. Wide choice of drinks and cakes available to choose from, including gluten-free and vegetarian options. Set in the grounds of the picturesque and historic Southwell Minster, it also is paet of a shop offering unique gifts including jewellery, scarves, soaps and books, to name a few, birg religious and non-religious. Worth a visit.
During a recent trip to Southwell Minster with my nephew and his wife, we chose to have lunch at The Refectory. The meal was exceptional and the staff, especially Abi, were excellent. I would definitely suggest stopping by for a meal.
I was in the area to visit an exhibition at Southwell Minster and decided to stop by for a drink at this restaurant. However, I ended up having breakfast as well. The staff were excellent - friendly, welcoming, and polite. The food was amazing, I couldn't find any faults with it. It was fresh, tasty, and served piping hot. Although it may have been a bit on the pricey side, I believe it was worth it for the quality. I will definitely be returning for another visit.
2 children’s basic toasties, 2 milkshakes, 2 coffees, £25.50. 2 hungry grandparents who won’t be back. Friendly staff and, strangely, plenty of tables free in the school holidays.
The cafe seemed to have a nice decor but that is about it.i had 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream for 7 pounds which i thought was daylight robbery.a salad was 15 pounds.i saw that advertised on the specials board.i really dont know where they get thier prices from.i will never go there again because of thier ridiculously high prices.if you are rich then go but i would never recommend the place, save your money go somewhere else
