China Garden - Newark and Sherwood

The entire meal was disappointing. The current chef seems to lack culinary skills. The food used to be excellent, but not anymore. The egg fried rice was an unappetizing brown color, the sauce was overly sweet like pure honey, and the pancake roll was dripping with grease. Overall, the experience was shockingly bad.

I have been dining at this restaurant for 30 years, and during that time, there was only one mistake, which was a missing dish that they quickly rectified. The food is always hot and tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. Although there may be a bit of a wait for your food in the past year due to its popularity, it is well worth it. Keep up the great work, and I am excited for the next 30 years of dining at this restaurant.

I visit this restaurant regularly and while the food is great, the organization is a bit of a mess. I highly recommend ordering over the phone, if you can get through, because the wait time in person is on average an hour and a half. I have seen around 10 people walk away due to the long wait times.

Excellent range of Chinese dishes freshly cooked to order. Been having takeaways from here for over 40 years. Recommended!!!

Come here quite often and the food is great, the service is great and wait time usually is great too though it sometimes can get quite high. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
