I discovered All Mine Cakes through a gluten free Facebook page, and as someone with celiac disease, I was happy to find so many gluten free options. We sat outside by the lake in the sunshine, I ordered a coffee and chip butty, while my partner ordered a coffee and breakfast sandwich. The total came to just over £30, which I found to be a bit expensive. As a result, we will probably only visit occasionally rather than regularly. The food and drinks were delicious and of good quality. The staff were polite and we had a positive overall experience, plus we were able to sit outside with our dog. We took a nice walk into Southwell afterwards. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. We may return in a few months once our finances have recovered.
The food was decent, but at £34 for 3 scones, 2 coffees, and 1 tea, we will not be returning. It was disappointing to be charged an extra 50p for butter on our scones.
This restaurant experience was absolutely awful. I had to wait outside before finally getting a table, then had to navigate through 8 different menus before ordering at the counter. The prices were way too high, the chips were soggy and greasy, and the scone was heavy and buttery. The coffee was cold by the time the food arrived, and the staff constantly slammed the door outside. There was no customer service to speak of, and the carpark was flooded. Overall, it was a completely miserable experience. My advice would be to save your money and avoid this place at all costs.
We’ve been here a few times. It is a really lovely spot with a terrace against a small fishing lake. It was a warm afternoon for the time of year and relaxing watching the fish jump was wonderful. We had 2 small coffees, a single portion of fries and 2 sausage rolls. They were all very nice but the main criticism is the price. It is very expensive and this light snack came in at £25. Lovely to visit but the old adage ‘you get what you pay for’ is particularly apt here. Be warned you need deep pockets.
We love love love this gem of a place! Visit a few times a year due to distance, but well worth the visit. Savoury or sweet you won’t be disappointed it’s all delicious We sit out on the terrace with the dog. Always have cake can’t resist and if we can’t fit them in we take them home! Hayley and her team are friendly and everything runs smoothly. We don’t have any allergy’s or intolerance food wise, but admire the ethos of the tea room. We usually do the trail with the dog can highly recommend!
