Contribuiți la feedbackI was impressed by how quickly I got my food. I ordered via door dash and it arrived in about an hour. The portion sizes are very generous. However the food is lacking flavor and very heavy that I barely ate the dish. I ordered the blackened salmon with broccoli mashed potatoes. The salmon was well done, very light taste. It could have used more seasoning, which is surprising considering it is blackened. The mashed potatoes were also light on flavor. I added salt but it didn't do much to improve the taste. The broccoli was nice and crispy, wish there was a few more pieces. They use a lot of oil and butter, so much that it pools on the bottom. I ended up pouring it out (there was enough to fill a shot glass). I felt full just looking at it. Mac and cheese was very dry. It looked like it may have been reheated, or perhaps the recipe is off. I ate one bite and threw it away. Overall, it was forgettable. I wouldn't order again
This was one of the only places that was opened after 11 on DoorDash. The reviews on Yelp were decent. The photos on the owner's Instagram looked yummy so I ordered. I ordered the blackened salmon with mashed potatoes and mac cheese. My hubby got the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My food was dee-lic-ious. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The mac and cheese tasted baked (as it d sad joule be) the mashed potatoes were a little buttery. My hubby enjoyed hood meal as well. The only issue is, when ordering through DoorDash the wait is over an hour.
I really wanted to like this place and support black owned businesses but the organization here is terrible. It's the old LaRouge lounge it seems to me that his attention is on the customers that come in for the lounge/bar (parties). He has his establishment on Grubhub, DoorDash, Uber eats, and his own ordering menu from a third party where you can pick up the food. All the menus and even the addresses are different I informed them and the apps of that once when I called after my order was cancelled and I spoke with a nice woman that told me her boss just told her to shut the kitchen down and cancel orders. My 1st 3x ordering my order was canceled an hour later no courtesy call just canceled ... the prices keep going up on different apps I personally liked the stuffed salmon which was originally $28 now almost $40. When I finally was able to get the order it comes with mash or macaroni and cheese, broccoli or asparagus. I got the Mac once never was able to get it again. I ordered from this place a few more times as I seen it was a new establishment and wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but it has been nothing but cancelled orders and we don't have this and that on the menu right now! He's constantly promoting his business on Instagram with dishes he's made but unfortunately I can never get my orders. I've also even ordered and picked up my order and had to change it because he didn't have what I wanted and then had to leave and come back to pick it up because he was just walking in when I got there. The food was amazing the 1st time I actually received the order and nice proportions the 2nd and 3rd time the food was a bit salty but the whole experience overall was terrible. I think that he should 1st work on the lounge and take the business off the apps and let ppl experience him through the lounge he's young and his food isn't bad Why I kept ordering because the food was so good when I actually received it... he has a lot to get together hopefully someone else has a better experience but for now I'll pass I wish him luck!!!
Back with another quick review. I tried the Big Bertha which is crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, corn, and eggs. They subbed broccoli because they ran put of corn. It was sublime. The Big Bertha was seasoned perfectly, like everything was good! However, picking up my food I walked into a lounge??? I guess on the weekends that restaurant turns into a social place??? If you go on the weekend do carside pick up, don't go inside. Because the amount of people in there with their masks off (they were eating) in such a small space, made me very uncomfortable. But the staff were great, the Dj was great too lol. I think this is also a Black owned restaurant which is a major plus, I love supporting our businesses! Glaze Kitchen continues to be amazing, the price matched the value of the food. I will be back again.
The food was phenomenal came in record time using door dash and it was still hot like it was off the stove. I'll definitely order from here again
