Was not worth 10 dollars. Originally thought the lamb and steak platter would come with a salad for that price because it literally said it does. Apparently I was handed it without and the quality was not worth it and probably purposely forgot the salad. Just go to a more well known halal place.

So good! The workers are always friendly and helpful! Food comes out quick and couldn't possibly taste better. Only amazing experiences from Taj Mahal Food Truck!

Delicious lamb gyros – the best I've ever had! The lamb over rice was also excellent. I highly recommend this place. The staff was very friendly as well.

This food truck is conveniently located on the NJIT campus, easily identifiable by the long lines of customers waiting to be served. The lamb (gyro meat) over rice is exceptional; it has a homemade taste that distinguishes it from the typical mass-produced options. The long grain basmati rice is particularly noteworthy and truly sets this truck apart from others. However, the white sauce is somewhat heavy, resembling just thinned-out mayonnaise. Additionally, the hot pepper flakes lack any real spiciness. I also noticed that they don’t seem to offer the standard Halal truck hot sauce, as it’s never added when I place my order, which is a missed opportunity for someone like me who enjoys spicy food.
