The Angel Inn - Newark

This was the second time we have had a meal here. All ten of us had a fantastic meal. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and attentive...could not have wished for more. Will see you again soon

Without a doubt the worst Indian we have ever had in fact the worst meal we have ever had. Nice waiters and lovely decor.

I never usually write reviews but feel somethings should be brought to your attention. I visited your restaurant recently, we were seated it a cramped room where the staff could neither reach our table nor tell me which Lagers were available! (FYI John Smiths Guinness are not lagers) We waited for well over an hour for our mains, when we asked we were told by staff that they would find out how long it would be, only for that staff member to not return?! Unfortunately the food was most definitely not worth the wait! Food aside, customer service? We had to ASK if we could order We had to ASK to have our table cleared We had to ASK for more drinks (which went to the wrong table) We had to ASK for the bill, which (I noticed) was the fastest thing to arrive. Upon leaving the gates to the car park were locked and we had to ASK to leave?!
