Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Newalla

This evening, my husband and I did a carry out. Unfortunately, this is the third or fourth time that our food has been made incorrectly, and our smoothies have come out more icy than normal. I called to have his wrap remade and was not met with good customer service. Even when I was verifying the operating hours, they kept demanding that he come in with a receipt for the food. Didn’t offer an apology or any kind of help. We will not visit this location again. The Tropical on MacArthur and Northwest Expressway is 100% better with speed, quality, and customer service.

I’m a vegetarian of 5 years, I visited this location on my break from work yesterday and ordered a quesadilla no meat. It took them the majority of my 30 minute break to prepare the order, they apologized for the wait but I was understanding because I know they use fresh food so I hurried back to work and began eating (usually I check my food but again was in a hurry). I noticed something off after eating a portion of the quesadilla and was so upset to find I unknowingly ate chicken. I immediately called the location and explained the issue, they recalled the order and said I could come in the next day for a refund. The attendant I spoke to said she had my name written down and gave no further instructions. I returned today for a refund and again the attendant recalled the order but immediately said I can’t help you because the manager isn’t here so you need to come back. I let him know I was on my break and specifically confirmed I could come today, he said he could call the manager. Once on the phone with the manager they asked for my receipt, I let them know I wasn’t told I needed to bring it in so I didn’t have it. They told me there was nothing they could do and they weren’t giving me cash which I didn’t even ask for so I left upset and two consecutive days I waste my break time at smoothie cafe. After returning back to work I found a sticker with the order ID so I called the location once again in hopes I could give them that information and get my refund, I called several times with no answer and then the last time I called the phone was off the hook. I consciously was kind and calm when explaining my situation and am so upset that I can’t get help and on top of everything was sick after eating something I’m against eating

Omg Ms amber was so patient helping me pick a smoothie! It was my first time at Tropical Smoothie ever in life and the menu was hella overwhelming lol. Everything looked amazing and Ms Amber helped me figure what I wanted so quick! I love it she asked did I like veggies or fruit in my smoothies which helped me pick the Island Green smoothie which was sunrise with veggies crosssover lol in my opinion but omg delicious!! We need more employees like Ms Amber.
