I like this place, I really do. In the last year, the gluten free desserts have really gone downhill. They’ve pared down which options are gluten free so much that if you don’t like oats or very, very hard desserts, you’re kinda out of luck. The flavor is good, but they’re so dense, and half of it is often just made of solid shortening with sugar in it. Many items I’ve had (over a long period of coming here) are just too sweet. You’re not going to find many non-pastry breakfast options here if you’re gluten free, either. Last time I was in I got the corner piece of a raspberry bar (my favorite) that shouldn’t even have been sold- it was burned on one side and had no raspberry in more than half of it. I feel bad saying it, but one of the employees in particular is not attentive and makes awkward situations, on top of making really, really bad coffee.

Woooooooow. This place may be in my top 3 fave vegan bakeries ever (and I’ve been all over the country)

Made a custom strawberry shortcake for my birthday this year and it was AMAZINGGGG. Being vegan for the past three birthdays has left me with limited options regarding both taste and aesthetic but this bakery hit the nail on the head and will for sure become my new go to spot for all my baked good needs <3 Princess Bijou

A cute, plant-filled cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a huge variety of vegan food and pastries that are delicious and creative, going far beyond boring meat substitutes. It seems like a pretty versatile space in terms of the vibe. When I was there, there were some people working alone on laptops, others there stopping by for coffee on a dog walk, and some larger groups hanging out and socializing. The staff was very chill and kind. When they didn’t have something I ordered, they replaced it with a more expensive item I chose for no additional cost.

If you’re vegan, this is a great couple blocks and places like Whiskers make sure to give a bunch of options for a good on-the-go vegan meal. Coffee could be better, not gonna lie, but overall, the place is a vibe. Really spacious! Cafes around the area tend to be a little cramped but this joint makes sure you have space to breathe and relax. There seems to be a lack of seating for larger groups but if you come with one person you’ll be fine finding a spot. Wish it was open for a little longer. Really great service, which is expected for the location.
