The Dining Room At The Metropolitan Museum Of Art

Lovely room with tables far apart from each other. Very SLOW service and a fairly limited menu. There had been a prix fixe but that seems to have gone. Pricey but a nice splurge.

The Met dining room is a quiet, dignified retreat from the hustle-bustle of the museum. The food is fine. The service is excellent.

Lovely setting, great service. Food was ok. Panzanella was good, roast chicken was a bit dry, good veg.

The food was great. And I loved how the tables are not close together. It was very relaxing. And even on a rainy day the view of Central Park was beautiful.

Excellent service, beautiful room, perfect for a met museum visit.… I only wish they were open on Sundays, as a Sunday brunch, there would be lovely.
