Came here on a Wednesday evening with a friend and was very satisfied with the selection on food and weep. great addition to the neighboring. the seating of sidewalk were a plus.

I had dinner with my date last night at the black lodge, we started with ordering 2 cocktails I had the jacques Gin Collins which was very refreshing and my girl freind had the lemon grass infused vodka martini which she enjoyed very much We chatted for a bit and sipped our drinks along with a great background up beat music The waitress recommended the tuna tartar and the octopus salad and both were very tasty and fresh As a main course my girl friend ordered the blacked organic salmon medium rare and it came perfectly cooked , the sautéed asparagus and baby potato were a great addition to the dish she enjoyed it very much . I ordered the half roasted chicken which was juicy and the sautéed spinach and roasted red pepper mashed potatoes and rosemary jus was just delightful. We followed the waitress recommendation and ordered a bottle of rose which was perfect considering the hot day. We had a great experience and will definitely recommend it to our friends.

Food was bad. Place is really small. Service was slow even though it was pretty empty. Not worth going to.

Black Lodge has recently updated its menu to feature only burgers, which weren't available online at the time I made my reservation. While the food was decent, it didn't quite satisfy my cravings. The service was acceptable, but when our disappointment became apparent, the host graciously offered us a round of complimentary cocktails, which were quite good.
