The quality of the food is excellent. Their ratings should be higher on this platform. They have great reviews on Yelp, and I was pleased with everything during my visit.

I had the omakase experience here, and it was fantastic! The quality of the fish was excellent, and every piece was incredibly fresh. It's a BYOB establishment, so definitely bring a bottle of wine with you! They offer a $75 menu that includes a starter (like miso sea bass and oyster abalone), 12 pieces of sushi, and a hand roll.

Best sushi I've ever had. Loved our chef, excellent food, got the omakase. Nice hostesses/waitress. Got to do magic for everyone, everyone was super friendly, and had a great time.

Throughout the evening, I enjoyed conversing with the chef about his craft and had the opportunity to share my recently published guide on sushi, which he appreciated. The omakase included ten pieces of nigiri, with the option to add extra if desired. This format allows diners to save space for their favorites and even go for a second round if they choose. After our meal, I indulged in something not often seen outside of Japan, which I believe is quite important: a slice of pizza from a nearby pizzeria. I jokingly told my friends that while they enjoyed their fresh sushi, I was off to grab pizza. If anyone is looking for an authentic omakase experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Sushi Kai.

No problem! At Grandmakase-Spot, we’ll be enjoying her 12 nigiri and a hand roll in just an hour! Our favorites were the A5 wagyu topped with uni and the toro with caviar. Check out the photo!
