Contribuiți la feedbackThe food is good, but it wasn't quite what I was hoping for since I really enjoy pasta dishes with red sauce and seafood. Unfortunately, they don’t allow for customization, even though they have the ingredients on hand, and none of the menu options caught my interest. There are quite a few Ragu dishes, along with a lemon pasta, cacio e pepe, and vongole. My favorite is shrimp spaghetti with red sauce, so I think I’d rather go somewhere that offers that or other seafood pasta dishes.
I had a wonderful evening with close friends, enjoying excellent service and tasty food, although I felt the portion sizes could have been larger. The prices were high, but still reasonable. Had I been there alone, my perspective on the restaurant might have been quite different.
I've been living on the Upper East Side of New York for 9.5 years and have tried nearly every restaurant in the area. Without a doubt, this place offers the best Italian food—and service—in the city. The reason is simple: the ingredients are top-quality, and Sandro, Anna, and Sandro Jr. excel at crafting dishes and providing flawless service. To further support this claim, I brought my leadership team here a year ago, and they still rave about the experience. While other restaurants may boast glitz and glamour, Sandro’s stands out for its exceptional ingredients and service. Pro Tip: the Spaghetti A Limone is an absolute must-try, and the Burrata with prosciutto and melon is an essential appetizer. Enjoy!
This is a decent Italian restaurant on the Upper East Side, although it's not the top choice in the neighborhood.
Just delicious! Pasta was incredible and the service was fast and wonderful. Can't recommend Sandro's enough!
