Rosa Mexicano - First Avenue - New York

Checked in for our reservation at At I checked back in with the hostess and she looked up our reservation and told me it would be a few more minutes. A couple minutes later we overheard them talking about a couple that was a no show they were talking about us. When we told the hostess we had been there she said she had just gotten up there. She was the one that had confirmed my reservation minutes earlier. After that they finally seated us. Our waiter was so nice, but the poor guy was clearly over worked. We didn’t get our entrees until When we finally got home I realized they had cancelled my reservation at minutes AFTER we had already checked in. The other locations are great, but this one is mismanaged and understaffed

The service was very slow. Very kind staff but they either forgot to bring our food out or there was a delay in the kitchen. We received complimentary corn bread which we appreciated but even drink service took a while. That was a bit frustrating when paying for a bottomless brunch

Valentine’s Day! The restaurant was packed and still everyone was so nice. Thank you great dinner

It was Valentine’s Day and we want Mexican. We have gone to the one in Lincoln center and we love it. It’s smaller but the service was excellent, food great and price was right! Will see you soon. Thank you

We have been here since 2000, every time we visit nyc. eating is notch. it's alive. the margaritas are the best they will find. when they go, they just don't take my place!
