Pescatore Seafood Co - New York

The staff at this restaurant appears to be consistently frustrated and irritable when interacting with customers. Each time I visit, I am either left waiting to be acknowledged for several minutes, or greeted with impatience when asking for assistance. Some of the seafood dishes are served frozen, and the employees react defensively when questioned about it. Even the fresh fish on the menu is tainted by the negative attitude of the staff. Despite living nearby, I am willing to make the extra effort to dine at Midtown Catch, where the service is more respectful and professional. The lack of basic courtesy from the employees at this restaurant is a major factor in why I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I work for a state agency and ordered 5 lobster rolls from this restaurant yesterday. The food remained undelivered for hours, so we rescheduled the delivery for today. They called to confirm the delivery was made and claimed it was picked up at 2:45am. It is now 3:45am and they just called again to say the driver only just picked up the order 15 minutes ago. I used to think this place was great, but I will not be ordering from them again. I do not recommend it!

I frequently order the pescatore dish at Mercato restaurant and have never been let down. I have high standards when it comes to fresh seafood, and my favorite items on the menu are their wild cod, lemon sole, shrimp, and gluten-free lobster cakes.

I've been going to pescatore since they opened up. always high quality seafood. their finished crabcake, lobster to die and the list continues. glenn and jerry are excellent fish merchants!

YUM! I've had a bunch of products from Pescatore Seafood Company. Prepared foods...fresh fish...soups...all was perfect and delicious. Reasonable pricing for excellent quality fish. Try them out and you won't be disappointed! With new free local delivery it's a win-win. NYC-gem for sure!
