Pastis - New York

I had a fantastic meal at one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The service was exceptional, even though they were closing for a year-long hiatus the next day! The staff's positive attitudes showed no sign of their impending closure. The food was as excellent as always. I am already looking forward to their reopening.

I was able to visit Pastis before it closed for renovations. The ambience and atmosphere were fantastic, exactly what you would expect from a popular brunch spot on a sunny winter Sunday. I had heard of Pastis for years and couldn't wait to try it out now that I live in NYC. While everything was good, I have to admit it didn't quite meet the high expectations I had. It's still a great place for brunch, and I'm excited to see what improvements they make when they reopen.

The food was decent. I had high hopes because of my previous experiences in France, but unfortunately the food at this restaurant did not meet my expectations. Additionally, the ambiance was too loud and the prices were expensive.

Very nice place in a cozi ambient. It. was a great night with a very good food.

We were recommended this place by a friend who said we couldn't have our first trip to New York without experiencing this place! My god she was so right! This place is heavenly! Everything about it is fabulous, I could of sat for hours drinking coffee and soaking up the amazing atmosphere! Food is glorious and service outstanding, our order came slightly late but the staff were onto it straight away and even gave us 2 free coffees which i thought was lovely! I will be coming back to New York and this will be my first stop!!
