Makimaki Sushi - New York

I really enjoyed this restaurant. They offer very fresh salmon, which I loved. Unfortunately, I recently experienced food poisoning, possibly from the sushi rolls, edamame, or miso soup I had. It's a shame because I've had great meals here at least a dozen times before, even though it is somewhat expensive.

This charming little place is perfect for a quick sushi fix. The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, making it a great find. The hand rolls are excellent, and the wrapper they use is quite impressive. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring fast service. Overall, I rate the food a solid 5 out of 5!

Maki Maki has been on my wish list for a while, and I’m so happy I finally got to visit today! When I arrived, there was no line, and I was in and out in under three minutes. The ordering process was simple, and the menu clearly indicated gluten-free options with a GF label. I tried the salmon avocado hand roll, and it was fantastic—just the perfect quick snack after a day of exploring the city. I enjoyed unwrapping it, and the food tasted incredibly fresh! Great flavors and reasonable prices. I will definitely be returning!

Great quick service sushi place. Pretty reasonably priced as well. The staff was okay, not the nicest but nothing terrible.Fish is fresh and delicious. It's a very small store with limited seating.

Tasty quick sushi and good indoor/outdoor seating options for a quick bite.The rolls aren't the most consistently shaped, but the fish had nice flavor and the ratios of fish to rice were good.Remember to use the free hand roll check-in special!
