We ordered a variety of dishes, including the beet salad, whipped ricotta with honey, linguini with clams, and penne in spicy tomato sauce. All of the food was delicious and the portions were generous! I would definitely return to this restaurant the next time I am in town.
This restaurant is wonderful! We had lunch here and we really enjoyed it. The food was delicious. We opted for the Prix Fixe Menu, which was very affordable and worth it. I would definitely come back again.
We dined at this restaurant on a busy Saturday night during peak dining hours. Our order included the cutting board, duck ravioli, gnocchi, maple glazed brussels sprouts, apple strudel, and ricotta cheesecake. Unfortunately, we found each dish to be underwhelming considering the high price. The meats on the cutting board were fresh but lacked balance without cheese. The pasta dishes were bland compared to other Italian restaurants in NYC. The maple glazed brussels sprouts had a strong vinegar taste and lacked any maple flavor. The desserts were decent but did not have a "wow" factor. However, the wine was reasonably priced by the bottle. On top of the mediocre food, our entrees took about an hour to be served.
Appetizers are alright. But Main Entree is just average. Had pasta, and steak for the entree but for me it was just soso. Unfortunately steak was below expectation.
Excellent cozy Italian restaurant for grown-ups. Friendly, great food, no obnoxious music. Not quiet, but that’s because there is lots of chat and laughter. Near The Joyce and the Irish Rep. Perfect for pre-theater. And for after dinner drinks and deserts.
