La Nonna - New York

Cute place. Food and service were ok. But for an Italian restaurant, we expected better. Every plate we ordered had the same pasta on the side and the tomato sauce tasted like cheap canned sauce.

Tastyyy. It was all great from the bread to the food. The service was extremely good but there was only 4 groups eating when we arrived. The food can compare to when my family went to Italy a couple months ago. There was a gratuity charge of 18% but it?s pretty customary in NYC. Spent around 17$ per person.

-I love the food here is beyond tastyand good. -The service is always attentive and friendly. -Prices are not bad for the portions and they serve a lunch special as well. -I recommend the fried calamari: it is crispy, flavorful and fresh.

Popped in here during the San Gennaros Feast because it was soooo crowded and I couldn?t have had a better experience. We had the BEST waiter ever and the whole staff was soooo accommodating and just good vibes. They gave free bread, we got Fried calamari as an appetizer and it was fresh and delicious. For dinner we got the fettuccine alfredo and it was delicious!! Very creamy and they let you pick how much cheese you want. Lastly, we got the red Sangria which was delicious

Very good Italian restaurant in New York City little Italy . They have good selection of home made pasta and a few pizzas. They typically have specials son good and drinks. A lot space outside and inside. Will definitely come back again soon.
