La Contenta - New York

I visited this place for brunch over the weekend, and I absolutely loved it! The food was fantastic, the drinks were impressively strong, and the service was excellent. My only concern was that the outdoor dining area had an unpleasant smell, reminiscent of a public restroom. While I understand that we can't control what happens in the LES late at night, a thorough cleaning before opening would definitely improve the experience.

This charming and cozy date spot in the East Village is a must-visit! They offer a fantastic happy hour, and the margaritas are amazing. The interior decoration is lovely, with flowers hanging from the ceiling, creating the perfect atmosphere for a romantic night out. I visited with some friends to enjoy a few appetizers and drinks, and I absolutely loved the queso fundido. It’s delicious when you make a little wrap with the accompanying tortillas and add some salsa. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic spot for a relaxed dinner with some delicious tacos. The service was excellent, and the chef prepared some incredibly tasty vegetarian tacos packed with fresh vegetables, all wrapped in homemade corn tortillas. Don't forget to try the crispy fish tacos as well!

The waitress is the best waitress I have had the entire week in Manhattan (ask for Karen) We were a group of 10 and booked a table early by phone. The atmosphere is friendly and good. The food was delicious and just spicy enough without being overbearing. I can highly recommend this place!

Cheap drinks. big plates. very solid mexican spot for LES and the price ranges are stellar as well. the salsa they use on the chips i think was the same on chile quiles and it was fire. overall it's pretty standard fare and i would def comeback for brunch. service was a bit slow at times but they're on top of their game and were quick to fix any mistake
