Hard to be grumpy when you have had Cafe Grumpy! I got the honey oat iced latte and it perked me up after a long day of work. I used to work around this area and every morning and afternoon during the weekdays, the line would be pretty long. It moves quickly though and is worth it.

Great drinks, I got the matcha cider and it was fantastic!

Coffee is ok. The staff and ambience both strive to live up to the cafe name.

I found their 12 oz iced Americano to be just average; it wasn’t bold enough for my liking. The same goes for the latte. Unfortunately, the ginger chai latte was quite disappointing—it was very watery and lacked flavor. However, I did enjoy the blueberry scone; it was quite good. On another visit, I tried their cheddar chive biscuit, which was also tasty. It had a chewy texture and a subtle kick to it. They source their pastries from Colson Patisserie.

I'm from Washington State and I can be quite particular about my coffee. People in the Pacific Northwest take their coffee and espresso seriously, and this place does not disappoint. The roast they use is excellent—smooth, not bitter or overly rich. The homemade flavorings are also fantastic. I highly recommend visiting and trying their coffee!
