Jacob's Pickles - New York

When I cheat from my vegetarian diet, this Low Country Meatloaf is at the top of my list!

Everything was tasted good, but to call what I got Poutine was an affront to Canadians. Just call em cheese fries

The fried pickles were not good at all and the Mac and cheese was greasy and had no flavor

So so so greasy. It was inedible. Shrimp Bacon Grits had so much grease, a layer floated on top of the grits. Fried pickles were smaller than shoestring fries. 95% breading. Like what happened to pickle quarters in fried pickles? Bf liked the patty Jacob's Patty Melt. Had to stop or I'd be running to the bathroom all night.

Incredible southern comfort food. Unique for New York. Reservations are recommended but we walk ins are accepted and accommodated. Really friendly staff. Food came out fast. We had our grids and biscuit served a bit colder than we liked, waiter made sure we quickly got it reheated. Flavors of the food are excellent. Good selection of drinks. Overall just an incredible spot!
