Heidelberg - New York

Heidelberg is a family favorite for me, my adult son, his German wife, and my daughter. It may be a bit pricey, but the authentic German food is top-notch. My personal favorite is the Sauerbraten! They have a great selection of German beers on tap as well. Keep in mind they don't take reservations, so arrive early and be prepared to wait, especially on busy weekends, during Oktoberfest, and the winter holidays. However, the wait is worth it. The atmosphere at Heidelberg is always warm, inviting, and lively, making you feel like you're among friends and family in the old country.

This restaurant serves the best German food in the city! They have a great selection of beers and their bratwurst is the most delicious I've ever had.

The food was fantastic! Although we had to wait a long time for a table, it was worth it in the end.

They serve beer in the classic boot glass which is awesome, and the food? Out of this world!!! Amazing selection of German favorites and an even greater selection of beer. A must-go!
