Harlem Wine Room - New York

This place is no longer called Harlem Wine room but Perla Negra. For starters would have been nice to some signage with the name so people know where they're going. 2 stars because the drinks were but everything else fell short. The food was not good and didn't taste very fresh. The way the chicken wings were fried did not look appetizing at all, they looked very pale and had no seasoning aside from the sauce that was on them. Also had the tacos and empanadas which were just okay. The service was a bit slow and the server wasn't all that nice in my opinion. Granted my friend was being a bit annoying which seemed to annoy the server. She was also annoyed that I didn't like the food, I wasn't even asking for it to be replaced or anything just gave my opinion because she saw some of it was untouched and asked if we didn't like it. I personally would not go back.

Delicious food, elaborate drinks, and very pleasant staff (Felix, Francis). A magical atmosphere that couples well with the cigar room next door.

BEST SPOT IN HARLEM. These guys are incredible. If you haven't been recently it's a whole new menu with the most amazing cocktails and tapas in town.
