El Cantinero Restaurant - New York

My favorite restaurant most since I was a child! still regularly. my favorites are 1) the personal, 2) music/events 3) who were! (sizzling fajitas is my go to) 4) the best margaritas on the rocks! you'll ever have.

It is a casual, small place, but the happy hour up is great. the drinks were great and the music was in the sensual friendly side. finally a place where we can dance again

The food and the margaritas are underwhelming. The salsa tastes just like tomato juice out of a can, margarita tasted like sugar, the nachos weren’t even the standard idea of what nachos are supposed to be with piled high chips… you can tell the owners are scraping by with the high prices and horrible food.

Pleasant spot near Union square, tables outdoors are recommended. Food experience was a bit underwhelming to be honest. Tacos shells had lost most of their crunchiness by the time they were served (soaked in liquid from the filling). Service was also avarage.

Great Mexican food and happy hour. Best part is the club upstairs. I love this place for after work partying if you love Latin music. My go to spot. Don't arrive after 8pm on a Friday or you will be waiting in line to get in.
