Burgerfi - New York

The first fry did evoke memories of Five Guys’ delicious fries, but that was where the resemblance ended. The rest were soggy, stuck together, and unsalted. As for the Famous CEO Burger, I’m at a loss for words. To sum it up, imagine taking $20 out of your wallet and trading it to a squirrel for some of its food. Yes, nuts—if you think you’ll get your money’s worth here, that’s what you are. Save your money and head to Checkers, Burger King, or anywhere else.

Over-the-top fast food burgers paired with incredibly fresh fries. If you're considering the special BurgerFi sauce, keep in mind that it's essentially a tangy Russian dressing. If you're not a fan of relish (like I am not), you might want to skip it. However, the burger and fries were simply outstanding! The customer service at this location was also very friendly. You can take a number to whichever table you choose to sit at. I can't wait to come back, and I look forward to trying the custard next time!

Food was good, but this place needs a lot of help on training and managing its employees to take orders properly, cook and serve as ordered, and provide friendlier service. We visited for lunch after 1:30pm so it wasn’t even busy. Everyone waited for their food for a minimum of 20 30 mins and even then, orders came out incorrectly causing people to request the toppings or whatever to get what they ordered, which obviously caused even more delays. Attached is a picture of my single cheeseburger (minus all the toppings I ordered and had to ask for). A couple that ordered right after us still hadn’t gotten their meal as we had eaten and began walking out. They were discussing getting their money back and leaving I don’t blame them. There were 5 employees and maybe 5 6 parties in the restaurant. I can’t even imagine how it operates during busier times. If anyone was friendlier with a smile or two, I probably would have been a little less critical of all the operational issues. There are so many burger joints nearby that I will probably pass on this spot for next time I have a burger craving.

This place serves an outstanding burger, especially the green style that uses lettuce instead of bread. They offer a good selection of beers, including fantastic root beer on tap. I keep returning and have never been let down. Pro tip: Be sure to get the Cajun-style fries to go with it!

The cheeseburger I had was absolutely the best I've tasted in a long time! However, I wish the music wasn't so loud; it made it difficult to have a conversation.
