The small branch of Ani Pizza Palace features two large tables for seating. The super-friendly pizzaiolo, who may be the owner, bakes some delicious slices. I tried the vegan bruschetta disc but added some mozzarella cheese, and I was very pleased with the thin, crispy, and delicate crust. The veggie toppings included roasted red peppers, juicy green peppers, chopped broccoli, fresh white onion, and mushrooms. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for well-made pizza in a welcoming atmosphere in Astoria.

I've been visiting Ani for several years now, and the pizza is consistently great—it's not overly greasy, and the owner really knows how to make you feel like family. Make sure to try the Penne Alfredo Pizza; it's absolutely delicious!
