This place has everything you need (speaking from a brunch perspective . Good atmosphere, good drinks, good food, good staff. They knocked it out if the park with it all. Staff was prompt with water refills, table clearing, and allergy accommodations. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. I can't complain about a dang thing. (I will note that the bacon was VERY crispy which I like but if you have a preference, let the staff know. Is it a little pricey? Yeah,it's a good penny but you get your monies worth in quality. I had a glass of rosè, which was a good semi-dry. Our table split a pumpkin cinnamon roll, which is a normal size but not too overwhelmingly sweet. And we all had our own smokedsalmon Benedict which I now eat every day for the rest of my life and not get board. They use hash browns instead of an English muffin,*chef's kiss*. If you are looking for a great date or to impress, go here!

Just a casual dinner with my friend. Everything was on top of it. The ambiance, the seating, the service etc etc. The food was amazing the plating was beautiful. Loved everything we ordered. Grilled octopus was the best. Oysters were very fresh no matter where they came from. Sourdough Focaccia was another hit. The cocktails were pretty much good too. My favorite was up north trip. Tried almost everything from the menu. Bit pricey but worth every penny. Would definitely goback would like to try the brunch menu.

Waterfront restaurant with a relaxed, upscale setting and views of Manhattan and Gantry State Park. I've been there for dinner and brunch, and honestly I can't choose between the two occasions..everything that I tried was just perfect. For brunch, I highly recommend the waffles. Burger and fried chicken sandwiches are a must-have and delicious!

The food at American Brass is good American food. I’d recommend the burger or the steak. The tartare was good. On the other hand, the lobster pasta had only a few raviolis. Happy hour is good. It’s good American food if you’re into that.

Great ambiance and location. Gantry park and the gorgeous Manhattan skyline appears as a mosaic across the east river if you are sitting outside. The chef is talented, food is quality, and the cocktails are chic and unique. The service, however, is just ok. As someone who has come to dine here for mainly brunch over the past 3 years, it feels as if management changes in 2023. Although the staff are generally pleasant they can be too laissez-faire resulting in the wait times to put an order in, turnaround time to receive order, have water or beverage refilled is just for the prices charged on this dining experience. Recommend as a top 5 brunch spot if you 're in LIC.
