Contribuiți la feedbackThe Ainsworth has a good selection of small plates, with the emphasis on “small.” When we’ve gotten flatbread or nachos at other restaurants, for example, my wife and I are able to be satisfied with sharing one. We have to order two at the Ainsworth, which makes them not as good a value as some other restaurants. They also have loud music playing, which the other restaurants we go to generally don’t have. We have successfully asked them to turn the volume down. Loud music is an especially bad idea during covid, since people have to get closer and talk louder to be understood over the music, making for a greater covid risk.
The Ainsworth has a good menu with a good variety of choices for small plates that can be enjoyed with a glass of wine. The music was quite loud starting out, but we got them to turn the volume down.
Very noisy and it seemed that they want a bar crowd as opposed to a dinner crowd
It seemed like a hopping place with music and all, but the waitresses were not very attentive. Maybe they were new. It was very loud. They probably should have seated my husband and I in the quieter room or at least asked us.
My guest and I were pleased with our experience. I had to get the hosts attention as she was seated and reading something. Once seated, the atmosphere was welcoming (although a bit cold due to high AC). The server was attentive and professional and had appropriate level of eye contact. The food was good as I have not had a great burger in a while. It was cooked to my liking. My guest had the taco entrée and he mentioned it was appropriately not too spicy. The server did check with the chef regarding items that may contain soy as I have a food allergy. Green tea (hot) would be an ideal option to add to the menu as Early Grey was the only option. The dessert menu would be great to include sorbet especially during the hot summer. Overall, I would visit again for business or pleasure as I work/live in the area.
