LA's Chip Stop - New Tecumseth

Visited LA,s on several occasions and am always impressed with the quality of the food The fries are fresh cut everyday (I've seen the hard working staff cutting extra fries on the go) and are thick cut and deep fried to crispy perfection. LA,s is home to the original layered poutine and the unique topping combinations makes it a dish to savour. If you prefer soggy skinny fries doused in oil.or McDonalds style this is not the place for you. The menu is impressive for a chip truck and if the owner would consider doing fish then it would be complete. Take a trip to Allison for this food, you won't be disapointed.

I had company from England and was embarrassed by the chips served at this stop. They could have been from yesterday or the day before, I won't go back

I drive by the truck every day, and every day there are numerous cars and people there. So during Potato Fest I went by with a friend for chips.Got cajun seasoned fries, and they were delicious! Cheap, made quickly, not greasy, nice and crispy! Really enjoyed them. They weren't salty either, which is a nice change from regular chip trucks. Overall, I would totally recommend it!Also - they offer boatloads of other food too, will DEFINITELY go back for deep fried Oreos. I guess what is SUPER popular is the poutine - they layer it, so it's not just gravy and cheese on the top. No vegetarian gravy option, so I guess I won't ever know what it tastes like!Only complaint was that the girl who served us was...how do I say this politely...not very focused and possibly on drugs. We had to repeat our order like four times (regular cajun fries, how hard can that be), and she seemed overall really annoyed with life. We asked questions about the other food that was offered (there are no descriptions on the menu, just "mozza fries" for example), and she actually sighed before answering each question. Extremely unprofessional, but since the interaction of ordering only takes two minutes, it will not deter me from going again.

Would be nice to have one in Toronto _My colleagues work out of Barrie and make a point to visit when they can.

I personally am a vegetarian so I was thrilled that there was a veggie gravy option that tastes phenomenal, the fries were very fresh and tasted great. My boyfriend accompanied me and said that the pulled pork sandwich was absolutely to die for and he also loved the Cajun fries. The staff working were great and made the order very fast.
