Donnie's Donuts - New Smyrna Beach

My husband and I are vegan. We reached out about the hours they sell vegan donuts and someone promptly got back to us. I think they sell the vegan donuts on Fridays, Saturdays, and maybe Sundays until sold out. The donuts were tasty, but WAY to sweet for my liking. The vegan blueberry donut was the least sweet between itself and the classic sugar dusted donut. I don’t know exact name of the donut. I wish they had a chocolate vegan donut or simple glazed white donut.

It really is the sweetest little drive through in town. Staff is always friendly and the donuts are always whimsical (and yummy! . I grab a dozen for the office every once in a while and it always makes everyone’s day! I definitely recommend stopping there for a sweet treat when you’re looking for a unique donut. Their iced coffee is fabulous, too!

WOWZA!! To call these donuts phenomenal, would be an understatement. The donuts themselves could stand alone, but then they create these works of art with the toppings! Nothing is overwhelmingly sweet and it’s all well balanced and packed with flavor. Apple pie was the overall favorite. I’ve had a fruity pebbles donut a few times but this was by far the best with the blueberry donut. Can’t wait to go back! Kids loved it which is always a plus too!

Warning: Wonderful Donuts are born here! It is no wonder this « hole in the wall » like donut place is recognized nationally. The food network reported on them, so did many other specialized publications focusing on bringing the best tastes straight to your mouth. The selection is excellent, the staff is welcoming and takes the time to show you/ explain what is in the donuts you are selecting, and intimately you’ll start being uncontrollably hungry by simply reading the well thought and inspiring names given to each type of donuts. As far as taste is concerned, a donut is traditionally a breakfast item. These ones deserve to be classified as high end dessert food. Enjoy every bite.

Donnie's Donuts is a regular part of my diet. My husband treats me to their vegan donuts at least once a week, often more! The service is consistently excellent, and everyone is so friendly. I highly recommend sampling their delicious donuts and unique flavors!
