Cafe Verde - New Smyrna Beach

We had a great experience with friendly, speedy service and fresh food! We ordered the chips and salsas sampler, guacamole, and lamb gyros. The chips were delightfully crispy, freshly made, and perfectly salted. They were tasty on their own, but they complemented the salsas and guacamole beautifully. However, we weren't huge fans of the slow-roasted lamb in the gyro; we generally prefer shaved lamb meat over stewed lamb. If you enjoy stewed lamb, though, you’ll likely appreciate its flavor and juiciness. We definitely plan to return, as there’s plenty of potential for discovering new favorites on their menu!

The vegan bowls here are excellent, featuring delicious seared or fried tofu, plantains, black beans, rice, and guacamole! We also really enjoyed the torta. While the service could be a bit more attentive, the food was fantastic. Happy hour begins at 3 PM.

This place had a relaxing vibe to it. The menu had quite the variety of various ethnic options: Korean Bowl, Indian Curry, Ahi Tuna salad, etc. I ordered the Ahi Tuna salad the tuna was fresh on top of a bowl of fresh baby spinach. It was topped also with snow peas, cucumbers, red cabbage, quinoa, pickled ginger, and avocado. The dressing was a sweet sesame soy served on the side. It was a good sized serving and definitely filled me up. The service was attentive and friendly.

Almost perfect!!! Heard about this place for a while and finally went for lunch today. It is a very cute Florida style place, has both inside and outdoor seatings. I had Ginger Soy Ahi Tuna, it was perfectly prepared... almost. The sauce was very flavorful but is was a bit untidy... I know most people probably won't even notice, but I am very picky when it comes to food styling ???? My server Amber was very friendly and attentive and I will be back for sure. As mentioned that I would be back... I have been back twice since my first visit... Had great food and wonderful service every time ????
