The price is significantly higher than what I have seen at other Italian pork stores in the Bronx and Brooklyn, as well as higher than at Whole Foods Market, Zabar's, Citarella, DeCicco's, and everywhere else I have shopped. I understand that prices have increased, but this is too much for me. I regret to say that I will not be returning to this store for my shopping needs.
Don't expect to find a good sandwich here. It's mainly broth with very little meat, and the customer service is lacking. I would suggest trying one of the neighboring restaurants instead. I paid around 8 dollars for a sandwich with only three thin slices of turkey on it. Definitely not worth coming here.

Over the years, we've visited when we wanted a nice sandwich. Not a great sandwich or a behemoth of sandwich. A nice sandwich. Overpriced, yes but I'm sure the rent in Wykagyl is not cheap. Nonetheless, never a first choice.Today, my wife got an attitude from the shorter guy' and, in today's world, there's no room for attitude. She then explained that this was a regular occurance. The taller guy' was nicer but not great either. When you're not the best or the cheapest, customer service and kindness is all you have to rely on. Maybe convenience too but that doesn't matter now. We'll be shopping elsewhere.
Best food. And they make you what ever you want ask for
