Pointe Dining - New Philadelphia

The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is beautiful and fun. Our service was mixed the last time we went this past Saturday. The waitress was great at being helpful and anticipating our needs, but the kitchen was running very far behind. Budgeted 2 hours between the time that we made our reservation for and the time we had to be across town, We literally had to have our dinners boxed from the kitchen and ate a few bites out of our takeout containers before we left. I only removed one star for the service because of that because other times on off nights we had great service and because the server was good as well. But I would highly recommend going here after the event that you're attending instead of before.

Prime rib, cajin chicken was excellent. Nice place. Not sure what changed but got prime rib last time and it was terrible and tough. I’ve ate here before and it was fantastic not sure what change is or was better fix it. I’ll give it another try but went from 5 stars to 3 if care about business I’d take look into it. Hopefully this was a one time thing.

It's okay but if their food was consistent it could be so much better. We get a great meal and three weeks later its a disappointment with the same choice.

We like to take our 2 Cross County Runners out for a steak the night before a race. We were in Dover to cheer on our Nephew on Football Senior Night and took a chance on The Pointe. Wow! My daughter ordered the Orange Glazed Seared Salmon. It was delicious! I ordered the Roasted Apple Bourbon Pork Chop. It was tender and flavorful! The brussel sprouts, parmesan risotto and Alfredo pasta also did not disappoint! It was a great dining experience with delicious food and friendly, attentive staff. I doubt there is anything on the menu not expertly prepared. Eat there!
