Granato's Pizza - New Philadelphia

I really enjoyed this restaurant, especially if you prefer a light sauce on your pizza. The last time we went, we found that there was not enough sauce on our pizza, just a lot of dough. When we mentioned this to the staff, they offered to add extra sauce for us. We declined, but did ask for more sauce than the minimal amount that was originally on the pizza. It seems like you have to specifically request extra sauce here, which is different from other places we've been to. The salads are not your typical pizza place salad, they are a bit small and lack toppings compared to other places, but the subs are fantastic! They have a homemade taste that really sets them apart.

This is my preferred pizza place in the area, and considering the abundance of good pizza options here, choosing them over the others speaks volumes. The pizza is delicious and reasonably priced, earning my highest praise.

The restaurant was average. It could have been better if the toppings were more generous. I ordered two steak subs, which were not very large and had a minimal amount of toppings. There were only about 12 small squares of onion, scarce cheese, and a lack of mayonnaise. It seemed like the owners were only concerned about themselves, as evidenced by the Classic Chevelle parked outside. This greediness will likely lead to their business failing.

Wife and I tried Granato's Pizza for the first time after seeing good reviews. They did not disappoint. Great pizza, sauce and friendly staff when we picked up.
