Fuchsia Tiki - New Paltz

The food and cocktails were fantastic as always! We make the hour-long drive just to support this place. During this visit, I was particularly excited about their zero-proof drink menu since I’m pregnant, and I was not disappointed! I really appreciate that they offer non-alcoholic cocktails that are sophisticated, flavorful, and visually appealing. It was saddening to learn that they will be losing their current location due to the landlord, so if you're reading this review before September 30, 2023, and you’ve never been, I highly recommend stopping by—you won't regret it!

I've had a great time at many bars, but my visit to Fuchsia stands out as one of the most enjoyable experiences I can recall. Andrew, the bartender, was truly one of the coolest and most intriguing bartenders I've encountered in quite some time. The atmosphere was fantastic as well.

Fuchsia isn't just an exceptional tiki bar, it is a fun place to hang with rad staff and a sense of humor. Seriously huge rum selection, hand made orgeat and other syrups and tinctures, etc. Anton knows his craft and is admired and followed by others in the industry. It is a do-not-miss in the Hudson Valley for well balanced cocktails. Climb some cliffs, do some trail running, drink a Mai Tai or mocktail, eat some dumplings. What could be better?

This place is truly the bees' knees. Amazing drinks, ambiance, and service. We've been to tiki bars around the world, and would truly call it one of the best.The attention to detail is spectacular (icy cold glassware, comfy seats, drink strength menu descriptions). Would recommend this as a destination bar for anyone even remotely in the area.

Update from June 2023: I returned to see the owner, Anton, who unfortunately wasn't there, but I received outstanding service from Andrew and Fran. The drinks were perfectly balanced, and the service was exceptional. There’s a reason they’re well-known in the NYC cocktail scene; I hope the locals realize how fortunate they are to have such a gem!
