Vessel NOLA - New Orleans

This was a disappointing experience. First I called to add a friend who came from out of town to our reservation. I was told there was no room and all the seats were reserved. Major lie. The restaurant was less than 50% occupied the entire time we were there. Second when we arrived at the hostess stand another staff member came over and in a not so polite tone and asked (told) us to hold on while they were resolving another matter. It would've taken less than a minute to seat us and matter discussed (in front of us as we waited) was non-urgent and could've waited. Third the food was so-so. I give them credit for the decor but they need to work on their people skills. I would've left when they sat us down but we were meeting new friends and I had to pay a deposit. With so many options in NOLA to dine at, I won't be dining here again.

Staff food ambience amazing. This is a definite must see and enjoy place!!!

The ambiance of this place was beautiful and I really enjoyed the music they were playing. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and the fried calamari was the best I've ever tasted!!!! I would definitely eat here again.
