The Backyard - New Orleans

Wish I can give this restaurant 5 stars over and over and over and over! The food is always amazing, the staff are always super attentive, and they were able to accommodate my ask to reserve the back patio for 25 adults for a family reunion. Thanks Backyard! Wonderful neighborhood spot.

I'm a huge fan of the backyard but the prices for the kids meal is high! $12 for chicken nuggets and 10 tater tots. Inflation is one thing but not sure if this is justified.

We had high hopes for this place and were excited to go! The food was horrible and so was the staff. Crystal reduction smoked wing?? Who came up with that idea. Boom burger was just spicy no actual favor. Best thing on the table was the tater tots. The food quality and the cost do not match up! 0/10 would not recommend!Food: 1/5

I had not been to The Backyard in about a year. I read about the changes and knew I had to go back. Jared waited on us as we dined at the bar. The frozen old fashion bourbon is a must try. The deviled eggs were fresh and seasoned perfectly. Let’s talk ribs-they were melt in your mouth tender and the sweet fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The atmosphere is wonderful . This will be our new Friday hang out for food and drinks. It had been awhile since we don’t live close, but it was like greeting an old friend with the food and service. Keep up the good work guys.

Not for kids, nothing to play with or on.We chose this restaurant thinking there would be a playground for our very active child. Upon arrival as we got seated I decide to go outside with my son and use the playground.... to realize it is not there.Food is OK, service was a little passive aggressive. The waitress kept on making comments about how the sauce is free as my MIL was asking for ketchup and mayo since her burger came with nothing on it. I saw the review from 5 days ago talking about getting charged for sauce after and made the connection.All in all, it was OK food was good. It gets loud inside with just a small crowd and does not have nothing for kids so it did not meet our needs.
