Seed - New Orleans

We stumbled upon this restaurant while exploring the area and were pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I was thrilled to find vegan options nearby, and this place did not disappoint. The tacos and drinks were really enjoyable. My husband tried the cauliflower sandwich on purple milk bread and was blown away by it. We also ordered the fried glazed cauliflower, and as someone who isn't usually a fan of cauliflower, I genuinely liked it. For dessert, we had a banana split-style ice cream, which was also quite delicious. I definitely recommend this place!

The flavors were excellent! My friend, who is gluten-free and vegan, absolutely loved the meal! I'm not on either diet, but I thoroughly enjoyed the food as well!

During my solo visit to New Orleans, I had the pleasure of dining at Seed three times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I'm genuinely sad to be leaving! The staff is friendly without being intrusive, and the decor inside the restaurant is beautifully done. While their tacos are delightful, the eggplant shawarma is definitely my favorite dish. I also highly recommend trying the 'Smoking Jacket.' As someone who doesn't usually enjoy whiskey, I found it to be absolutely divine! True to the bartender's description, it has a smoky flavor with a sweet aftertaste.

Second time coming here since I've been to New Orleans and they changed the atmosphere which looked phenomenal!! Food is a 10 to say the least. New menu this time, but I didn’t care I knew it was going to be good either way. Ordered the Mushroom rolls and the hubby ordered the Kelp po boy. Other than the po boy bread being a little too crispy, the potatoes on the side hit the spot. I will forever come here anytime I’m back, because who doesn’t like to eat vegan every so often.

Beautiful, friendly restaurant with amazing vegan food and drinks. Has bar/lounge area as well. We had gumbo, butternut squash soups; cauliflower katsu, mushroom roll, lemon/lavender mocktail.
