Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - New Orleans

It's fast food, so I don't think the service should be heavily scrutinized. That said, the wait was a bit long, but given that it was a rainy day, it didn't really bother me. The speaker appeared to be malfunctioning, so I ended up placing my order at the window. The staff was friendly and efficient. With many of our restaurants still closed post-Ida, I was really happy to be able to get some chicken!

The drive-thru line was quite long, so I decided to park and go inside. I ordered a large red beans and rice along with the new flounder sandwich. Unfortunately, the red beans and rice consisted of about 75% rice and only 25% beans. The flounder sandwich, on the other hand, was fresh and hot, but it was far too spicy for my taste. While the fish was tender and not dry, the coating tasted a lot like spicy chicken. Overall, the food was decent, but they really need to improve the drive-thru wait time, especially since chicken is their main offering.

The line moved too slowly, causing many people to give up. However, the food quality was decent, and the service at the window was efficient once you finally got there.
