You can't go wrong with this restaurant - the staff is friendly and the food is fantastic! They offer the freshest fish available and are top-notch when it comes to sushi rolls and sashimi. Whether you're dining alone or on a date, this place is top of the line. With a wide variety of options to choose from, you won't be disappointed - you have to try it!

My experience at this restaurant was really bad. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with extra steamed vegetables. The vegetables that came with the chicken teriyaki looked like 2 pieces of asparagus cut into unappetizing pieces. The extra order of steamed vegetables cost a ridiculous $7 and oddly included celery (I have never seen celery at a Japanese restaurant before). They also took 20 minutes longer than expected to prepare my order. Due to the long drive-through line, I went inside thinking it would be faster to pick up my order. Every time I mentioned my name, they seemed confused as if they didn't know I had an order, but didn't communicate this. Eventually, they realized my order had been waiting there the whole time and had gotten cold. Additionally, the parking spots next to the drive-through were poorly marked, causing cars to park and block the drive-through line and other vehicles from leaving the restaurant. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I will not be returning. Also, the food was not good.

I have ordered from Mikimoto many times for my work lunches. My go-to dish is the chirashi sushi lunch. However, my recent order was disappointing as there was significantly less fish than usual. Typically, each piece of fish comes with 2 slices, but this time many slices were missing, the egg was completely absent, and some pieces were just small end pieces. Adding extra cucumber did not make up for the lack of fish on the rice. I wonder if this is a cost-cutting measure, but I would prefer to pay extra upfront for a better quality meal.

Easy ordering online (order directly from their website? not via Google or ordering apps) Delicious food, great quality and they always provide accurate orders. They have a drive through take out pick up window which makes it so easy.

I'd had Mikimoto before, but went last night for the first time in person with my partner. As much as I want to like it, the sushi was warm and did not taste fresh at all. Flavor was not really there and did not correlate well to their pricing. Drink selection was also quite weak and they didn't have limes ?? I'd recommend any other sushi place in the city. 2/10 service was mediocre.
