Heard Dat Kitchen - New Orleans

The food was excellent, and I loved the mural on the building. Although the restaurant has limited seating both indoors and outdoors, the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. They also offered some great options on the menu.

This is the best food in Central City, and arguably in all of New Orleans. The chef is fantastic, the staff are delightful, and the atmosphere is genuinely welcoming. My recommendation: definitely order the bread pudding. You’ll likely be too full from the delicious Mardi Gras Mambo to finish it, so take it with you for a picnic later in the day. Just be prepared to go back for more delicious dishes, especially since you won’t have a way to heat it up!

They served me a Tv dinner. Food was hot though definitely not the best. If you’re just hungry they have food.

We stumbled upon this treasure. The staff was friendly and recommended the gumbo combo. AMAZING and she gave me extra grilled cheese on the house! Above and beyond. The Mac and cheese was the best we had all weekend! So much flavor! My girls not a pea person either, and she smashed. We will be back!
