Betsy's Pancake House - New Orleans

Food was great! Best grits I've had in New Orleans. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere was welcoming and so comfortable. This will be my new daily spot. UPDATE: A month ago I went there to eat, but I felt faint. Melissa, one of their best servers, drove me to the hospital because the fire dept showed up and Said it was going to be an hour before EMS can arrive. If Melissa wouldn't have taken me, I wouldn't be alive. It ended up that they had to remove 16 feet of intestine because of a blood clot my intestines were dead. Her empathy and compassion truly saved my life. Not only is Betsy the best family restaurant in the city, but the people who work there truly care and show compassion. Thank you again Melissa. I ended up having 5 major surgeries and I'm still in the hospital for awhile due to needing IV antibiotics. I've been in a month as of yesterday but I'm just so grateful to God for my angel Melissa.

Great place. NOLA local spot with the extra special charm. Definitely recommend for a good breakfast, wonderful smiles, and hot coffee.
