Bayou - New Orleans

Small intimate beautiful sounding jazz club in iconic hotel with what it should have.

It's a first-floor bar on St. Charles that offers quality live jazz nightly with no cover charge. I found plenty of free street parking on the side streets behind the bar. The bar menu was recently priced. We had a Cuban chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. Both were delicious.

Love this place so much! Great cocktails, music, service, atmosphere. A must even if you're not staying at the Pontchartrain!

It's a little pricey but to be expected from a New Orleans bar in a hotel. I will say I enjoyed our server who was definitely ready for.his 3 days off.

I'm in town for a few days staying at The Ponchartrain hotel. Came down for lunch and was blown away. Insanely kind staff and blown away by the burger.
