Acme Oyster House - New Orleans

Arrived at Acme around 3 PM, waited for about 30 minutes, enjoyed a great indoor ambiance, raw oysters incredibly fresh and delicious, seafood gumbo were also very tasty.Food: 5/5

We grabbed dinner at Acmes. There was a wait of about 20-30 minutes but that was okay, they turnover the tables pretty quickly. I got the chargrilled oysters which has a great butter and cheese combo. They did seem a tiny bit overdone. I also got the seafood etouffee which was excellent. My husband got the 12 napkin poboy and he thought it was really good. The fries that came with it were very tasty. Food service was super fast but drink service was slow. We got all of our food before the drinks arrived and we had to ask again.

We had Roscoe as our server he's was awesome and the food was great and super fast only wait in line outside for 10 minutes but Roscoe made the whole experience worthwhile and will have us returning from FloridaFood: 5/5

Phenomenal food! Would not recommend the oyster shooter as they clearly used wells vodka an experience none the less though.Wonderful oysters both raw and chargrilled, and great southern dishes.Food: 5/5

We got into this place with no line, which seems to be a rarity 1:00pm on a Thursday is the secret! Chargrilled oysters are out of this world and you’ll get bread to soak in the butter and oil from the oysters which will take you to heaven and back. We shared the peace maker po boy and it was outstanding. Server was courteous and helpful, staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean, and food was fantastic, can’t get any better than this!
