Visited August 28. Closed with a brewery for sale sign on the door. Guess it didn 't make it.

I discovered Candlewood Brewing while looking for a last-minute weekend date spot. Started off with a sampler flight, and found that everything I chose was excellent! The Cloudy Day IPA in particular would be worth going back for. They do also have a menu from a nearby Italian Greek restaurant from which you could order-in food. We did, and all of those choices were tasty as well. Exceptional service coupled with live music a place I will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for a great experience! 5 5

Candlewood Brewing Co. is one of my favorite stops in Connecticut. Unlike many small craft breweries, Pat and his team have a variety of available styles to suit anyone and everyone's pallette admirably. The events and atmosphere is fun, cozy, and welcoming (I recommend the bingo nights). A real hidden gem in New Milford, highly recommend if you are local or passing through.

Great set-up and selection of brews, with new beers rotating in seasonally. Pat and his staff are super friendly, and their beer never disappoints.

I just found this brewery only a few days ago and I am glad I went to try it. The beer is fantastic and the owner working tonight is a really nice guy. There was a great variety of beers on tap. My wife and I tried each one and thought they were all very well done, smooth, and easy drinking. I thought their NEIPA A Cloudy Day was on par with some of the best breweries around New England New York. There was a lot of seating for a small brewery and the decor is really nice. It was also trivia night, with the winners getting a free pint, which was great. I will definitely be back.
