Mi Familia - New London

This review is for a take-out experience. I enjoyed all the food right away in my car, and it was fantastic. I tried a hunch, a nativity, pork, rice with speck, stew, and a fried item that I couldn’t quite identify. First, the fried piece, which looked like a large mozzarella stick, was outstanding. It had a crispy exterior and a deliciously chewy interior filled with corn and a sweet flavor. Everything else was beautifully prepared as well—great taste, generous portions, and extremely satisfying. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I also spoke with the owner, who turned out to be a really nice person. I would rate this a solid 9.1 out of 10.

The restaurant is family-owned and offers delicious food! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the prices are reasonable. We're planning to come back this weekend to enjoy the outdoor seating and live music.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the great music creates a wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel like you're back home in Puerto Rico.

A so sweet little puerto rican family restaurant. I would especially suggest that the drawn black. omg I had some different types around nl, but her is by color the best (soo juicy and tasteful.) beside her piña colada drink; its alcohol-free, but they can easily add alcohol to make an amazing mix when that's hers. otherwise it is soo soo amazing on its own faust. Mi Familia Catering my wedding, and all I can say is WOW! Although I didn’t get to eat till about 1 in the morning, I can say the food was still amazing, haha. All of my guest were more than satisfied with how amazing dinner was. Arroz con gandules, Pernil, Pollo asado, ensalada, y también unos ricos postres. We got complimented all night about how delicious the food was, many people ate twice, and we had 50 guest. I am so happy that we chose them for our dinner. I would 100% do it again.
